Eric Glass is the producer and co-writer of WormCity
and does many of the other jobs like casting, boom operator etc.
Eric is writer, director and producer of The Wacky Factory kids TV show. He has been working with young kids in a television production environment for over 7 years. Starting as an artist and musician, Eric has had years of writing and organizing people for the vision of art.
The Wacky Factory TV show led Eric to write and produce a feature film with it's young cast"An American Retro" that went on to win an award in NYC.
Eric continues to teach kids writing, acting and the realities of working in television for The Wacky Factory and now a slightly older group, WormCity.
Derick Cummings is the director and co-writer for WormCity
and does many other jobs like cinematography, video editing etc.
Derick as a musician and performer had sowed his roots with writing/recording music and touring the U.S.A. & other countries in bands from the late 80's - late 90's. This included a children's album in 1993, and albums with Stone Lily, Hypnotic Clambake and many others.
As a sound engineer, he ran a small sound company in the 90's doing multi stage festivals and concerts with every type of music imaginable. As a studio engineer, Derick recorded many projects in various studios, including some in foreign languages, (Iranian's Farsi, French, German). As a multimedia specialist, Derick worked as a website designer/developer and computer expert starting from the late 1990's until present day. Developing websites, videos and multimedia projects for many corporate clients and small businesses.
As camera operator, sound recordist and editor, he has worked for years on corporate video shoots, independent films, small features, short films and animated projects. Began working for Eric Glass on the Wacky Factory kids TV Show back in 2005 and still going. Now working with Eric in more of a collaborated effort rather than the previous post production tasks of the Wacky Factory.
For the last few years, Derick has been working with his cousin Christopher Jarvis (www.jarvisfilms.com) on his award winning films doing sound design, field mixing and recording, consultation and data wrangling. Christopher is also a creative and technical contributor to WormCity and will hopefully be making a guest director appearance on an upcoming episode.
